Resize Notes

Option 1

  1. Select all of the target notes.
  2. Go to Functions > MIDI Transform > Fixed Note Length.
  3. Select a length, and click Operate.

Note 1: I find it easier to leave the default, and then click/drag the notes in the piano roll instead. Note 2: Select & Operate will select all in the region. While I prefer explicit selection, this is a quick option e.g. on a newly recorded MIDI.

Option 2

  1. Select all target notes.
  2. Select the first note (starting from the left). 3.

Option 3 - For All Notes

  1. Right click or double tap the MIDI region.
  2. MIDI Transform
  3. Select Half Speed, which will double the length of all notes.
  4. Select Double Speed, which will halve the length of all notes.
